The Next Generation are the children of the Elders after the sinking of Danu Talis. They are widely regarded as powerful, but their abilities pale in comparison to the Elders.

Its been stated that due to the powerful energies released with the Sinking of Danu Talis, along with the massive physical and biological changes brought by The Change to the Elder population, the children of Elders after the fall of their island brought about major genetical changes to their next generation of children. While a majority of the Next Generation do not have the power to awaken the Humani, some that gained extra power through various means (the Morrigan) have the ability to. Certain Next Generation are hybrids of the Elders and various other magical creatures, such as vampires.

• Scathach - Daughter of Ard-Greime and an unnamed woman, twin sister of Aoife and her unnamed brother, granddaughter of Zephaniah, and the sister-in-law of Niten.
• Aoife - Daughter of Ard-Greime and an unnamed woman, twin sister of Scathach and her unnamed brother, granddaughter of Zephaniah, and the wife of Niten.
• The Morrigan, Badb, and Macha - Celtic goddesses of death. Niece of Bastet, Hekate, and Mars Ultor and the cousin of Scathach, Aoife, Romulus, Remus, Aten, and Anubis. Possesses the power to Awaken.
• The Sphinx - Daughter of Echidna and Typhon and the sister of Cerberus, Chimera, and the Gorgons.
