The book's title, The Warlock, refers to Mars Ultor, as proven in the third chapter of the book by the Witch of Endor. However, the cover could be referring to Josh, since it is colored gold and has a symbol of King Tut's sarcophagus mask in the bottom right hand corner. It could also be referring to any of the characters that became Warlocks throughout the book, such as [[Niccolò Machiavelli|Machiavelli]], [[Billy the Kid]], [[Aten]] and even Josh himself.
